Students from BA (Hons) Fashion Design and BA (Hons) Fashion Photography have been selected by the Graduate Fashion Foundation for their annual Talent of Tomorrow photoshoot.

To showcase upcoming creative talent, the Graduate Fashion Week 2025 Talent of Tomorrow photoshoot was produced and shot by 54 of the top emerging fashion designers due to graduate this June, from universities across the UK.

The Graduate Fashion Foundation (GFF) gave students from 25 of their UK member universities the opportunity to art direct, style and photograph the professional shoot, under the guidance of industry mentors. Mentors included photographers Grace Hodgson and Mathushaa Sagthidas, Guardian journalist, VIP stylist and GFF Ambassador Bemi Shaw, and Journalist and GFF Academic Trustee Emma Calder.

VIP stylist and Graduate Fashion Week Ambassador Phoebe Lettice Thompson selected this year’s designers to feature, curating the looks for each of the teams.

Designs by Leeds Arts University BA (Hons) Fashion Design students Ozde Duran and Daisy Budianta were used in the shoot. BA (Hons) Fashion Photography students Bella Campling and Alice Turner worked as stylists on the shoot.

“The final collections produced for 2025 is of the highest calibre and the campaign is truly original and extraordinary, reflecting the talent that our British universities produce. This project was a fantastic way in giving the graduating year an opportunity to both work upon, and produce a professional shoot. It was inspiring to see so many students from different degree courses and UK universities working together collaboratively. We feel very passionately about letting the talent of the degree courses shine. By giving the reigns for the shoot direction, location, style and hair and make-up looks, we see new and innovative work emerge to shake up the British fashion scene.”

Nicola Hitchens, GFF Charity Director and Head of Special Projects at Graduate Fashion Foundation

Working on the campaign is an amazing opportunity for the students, who get the chance to network with other future creatives in the industry, whilst also building their portfolio.

“I am grateful that the press outfit from my final collection was chosen to be a part of the Graduate Fashion Week Talent of Tomorrow photoshoot. It was an amazing opportunity and I am very grateful for the exposure I got from the shoot.”
