Our print room includes professional screen printing preparation and development equipment as well as bespoke vacuum-bed screen printing facilities for paper.
Students can work in a range of professional relief and intaglio printing presses and bookbinding equipment including a powered guillotine and a number of nipping presses. Textile students have access to purpose built printing surfaces and a range of heat presses.
Students typically work in the following processes in this facility: monoprint, monotype, lino, drypoint, collagraph, woodblock type for letterpress, textile and paper screen printing and various bookbinding techniques.
