A large, black theatre curtain that was no longer needed at the University has found a new home, thanks to members of Sustainable Arts in Leeds (SAIL).

SAIL exists to create a zero carbon/zero waste future for the creative and cultural industries of West Yorkshire. Leeds Arts University are part of a members’ network designed to foster connections between organisations across the creative and cultural networks.

The curtain was advertised to members via the SAIL newsletter where it was quickly snapped up by Leeds Arts, Events and Venues and has been taken to its new home at Carriageworks Theatre, Leeds.
