Textile Design students win i-dott competition
BA (Hons) Textile Design
Four BA (Hons) Textile Design students have won prizes at this year's i-dott Surface Pattern Competition.
i-dott is a charity that bridges the gap between academia and industry, securing sponsorship from industry partners to support its work. Our BA (Hons) Textile Design students have taken part every year since the competition began in 2014.
This year's winners are Ani Slade who placed first in the Road to a Greener Future brief, sponsored by the British Coatings Federation, winning a £500 cash prize and having her design printed as a roll of wallpaper.
Olivia Helliwell who came first in the Modern Luxury category, sponsored by Panaz Fabrics, also winning £500 and having her design printed as a roll of wallpaper. Era Odlin-Bates who placed second in the Modern Luxury category, winning a £300 cash prize.

Millie Beck and Emily Gooseman who each won one an AVA CAD CAM Award, securing a week's paid training on specialist industry design software.
