BA (Hons) Textile Design

BA (Hons) Textile Design graduates Darcee Norton and Beth Lingard have been shortlisted in the Fashion/Accessories/Textiles category for Art Thread’s Global Creative Graduate Showcase 2025.

The Global Creative Graduate Showcase 2025 is open to all art and design students, undergraduate and postgraduate, who graduated in 2024-25 in any related creative discipline, anywhere in the world. The competition is hosted by Arts Thread in collaboration with Monaco Foundry and Google Arts and Culture.

‘Whispers of the Deep’ by Darcee Norton, is a collection of print design for interiors that delves into the whimsical and surreal side of forgotten worlds. Blending hand-drawn illustrations with digital rendering, the collection uses a palette of tranquil teals, serene blues and pops of uplifting colour to bring these underwater wonders to life.

‘Dusk till Dawn’ by Beth Lingard is a luxurious collection of wallcoverings and furnishing designs, revealing the beauty of fantastical flora and mystical creatures within a vibrant paradise. Detailed illustrations are digitally painted in jewel tones, with bursts of colour, creating a harmonious and vivid palette.

A team of independent judges selected the shortlist which is now available to view on the Arts Thread platform. The winners will be chosen by a panel of industry experts in collaboration with members of the public who are invited to vote for their favourite work online. You can vote for Darcee’s work here, and Beth’s work here.

The winners will be announced in October 2025.
