Textile Design graduate launches card collection with Paperchase

Ella Spencer, BA (Hons) Textile Design graduate, has launched a new greetings card collection with Paperchase.
After winning the Paperchase New Designers Award in 2024, Ella received mentoring from Paperchase and Tesco F&F, and had the opportunity to create her own collection, which is now available in selected Tesco Extra and Superstore locations across the country.
“It has been absolutely incredible to be able to walk into a Tesco store and see my designs with my logo printed on them! It has also been lovely to see the public's response to my designs, especially seeing how enthusiastic the Tesco staff members have been when I’ve spoken to them about it all!”

The collection, ‘Thank You Teacher 2026’, celebrates the work of teachers, and features four card designs. Inspiration came from stickers and badges often given to students by their teachers, with Ella wanting to “create designs that allowed children to give their teachers a gold star too!” After coming up with the concept, Ella started visually planning and mapping out the collection, experimenting with motifs and pattern layouts, before collaborating with the team at Paperchase to prepare the designs for print.
