Recent Textile Design graduate selected for Z OPEN 2025 exhibition

Abbie Booth, 2025 BA (Hons) Textile Design graduate, has been selected to showcase her innovative work at Bradford Industrial Museum as part of the ‘Z OPEN 2025’ exhibition during Bradford’s City of Culture year.
'Z OPEN 2025' is an open exhibition opportunity by the Bradford District Museums & Galleries’ Young Ambassadors ‘Generation Z’ cohort. It is an exciting opportunity to see art produced by young Bradford creatives aged between 16 – 25 years of age.
Abbie’s ‘Industrious Colour’ is an exploration into colour and shape from Bradford's textile heritage; using hand dyed, screen printed, and laser cut one hundred percent wool felt to create acoustic solutions.
“After seeing adverts for ‘Z Open 2025’, I applied as it was a great opportunity to display my work in the local area and meet other young creatives. It is a full circle moment to have the privilege of showcasing some of this collection at Bradford Industrial Museum as their machinery was a key part of my research into this project.”
