Filmmaking graduate displayed on an F1 Academy car

BA (Hons) Filmmaking

BA (Hons) Filmmaking graduate, Christie Monk, won the Team Viewer ‘Visibility Drives Change’ competition. Her photograph was also displayed on the F1 Academy Wildcard Car at the Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix 2025.

F1 Academy is a female-only, Formula 4-level, racing championship founded by the Formula One Group. Team Viewer, a digital workplace company, conducted an in-depth study to better understand the experiences of women in sports technology. Their research highlighted that visible women leaders drive gender inclusivity and innovation, yet remain underrepresented, and the visibility gap remains. Team Viewer’s ‘Visibility Drives Change’ competition aims to change this by featuring the face of inspiring women on the livery of an F1 Academy car.

Christie’s face was selected, along with two-hundred other inspiring women that are creating change across a range of industries and workplaces.

"It’s pretty surreal to have my face on a car alongside so many inspiring women. I loved watching it race at the weekend!"

Christie Monk, BA (Hons) Filmmaking graduate

Christie runs her own media business, Meze Multi-Media, which helps people to inspire, motivate and grow through digital content. Christie specialises in content-creation for online courses and education-based businesses.
