Farmer’s Wife’, the debut collection of recent BA (Hons) Fashion Design graduate, Geordie Campbell, has been featured in The Vanilla Issue.

Geordie Campbell launched his label in 2023 and unveiled his first collection titled ‘Farmer’s Wife’ at London Fashion Week. The Vanilla Issue featured Geordie’s collection on their website and Instagram.

“I was incredibly honoured when Vanilla Issue said they were going to write an article about my debut collection, it was the exact drive I needed. As a new designer it’s very easy to lose confidence of your own designs especially in such a competitive industry, and publicity is everything in the early stages."

Geordie Campbell, BA (Hons) Fashion Design graduate

Geordie continues, "I believe that in the first few seasons of any designer, you are on a journey of figuring out what you want to represent and how you want your brand to be identified, and this is just the beginning of my journey. The current evolution in menswear fashion is still in the early stages, I think a subtler approach is needed – a gradual adjustment. I want to push boundaries but not scare anyone too much. I look forward to exploring and developing as time goes on and I am very excited to showcase my first AW collection this coming February in London.”

“Geordie Campbell’s SS24 “Farmer’s Wife” collection stands as a testament to his innovative spirit and dedication to crafting a new narrative in menswear. It’s a blend of past and present, a dialogue between masculinity and femininity, and a bold statement in the ever-evolving world of fashion.”
