Second year BA (Hons) Visual Communication students have been exhibiting their work at John Lewis, Leeds.
The exhibition, âIntersectionâ, is the culmination of a second-year module, Communicating with Audience, designed to give students experience of exhibiting their work in a high-profile venue. This annual brief emphasises engaging with the public through their practice.
Last year, students curated a show in the John Lewis Partnership's Eastgate windows which was so well-received they were invited back to use the space again this year.
The students were asked to respond to the theme âCity of Leedsâ, working on self-directed briefs exploring themes related to Leeds. The work showcased in the exhibition includes zines, illustrations, moving image, 3D and textile design.
