Photography student has work published in new Shutter Hub publication

BA (Hons) Photography

BA (Hons) Photography student Lucy Dineen has had three images chosen for Shutter Hub's new publication ‘Food Stories.’

Shutter Hub is a photography organisation providing opportunities and support for creative photographers worldwide.

Through awards, exhibitions, publications, website and meetups they enable photographers to promote their work, access curated opportunities and make new connections within the photographic community.

Lucy submitted images that she had created as part of the module ‘The informed photographer’ on her BA (Hons) Photography degree.

She submitted the images Shutter Hub’s open call to engage with the commercial photographic industry and to showcase her unique style and approach to working with the subject of food.

“The brief for the open call was ‘food stories’ which I felt was a great opportunity for me to get involved in as my portfolio of work is surrounded around food narratives and connotations of shape, form, and sculpture. Being selected to be published alongside so many talented photographers will give me a platform to share my photographic identity and start to build an audience for my work and career.”
