MA Photography graduate to exhibit at Foto Tallinn 2026

MA Photography graduate Francesca Marengo has been selected to exhibit at this year’s Foto Tallinn international art fair.

Foto Tallinn is a biennial art fair held in Estonia, showcasing the latest in contemporary photographic art.  The 2026 event will take place at Kai Art Center from 18 September to 20 September 2026, and brings together 16 galleries and 15 individually applied artists selected by a jury of international art professionals.

Francesca has been selected to exhibit at this year’s event with her project ‘Consonant Time’, which has previously been recognised by the Urbanautica Institute Awards, where it was a portfolio winner in the ‘People and Communities’ category in 2024.

Francesca is a visual artist working with photography, drawing on collaborative research including “visuals, art, books, philosophy and cinema”. Through her work, Francesca explores contemporary situations and social dynamics, collaborating with voluntary organisations to support underheard voices. Using these dialogues, Francesca’s work ventures beyond documentary photography, creating a more poetic and thoughtful form of non-traditional story-telling.
