Leeds Arts University is excited to announce Next Gen, our 2023 exhibition showcasing the work of our talented postgraduate students.
The exhibition features a breadth of creative talent from a growing portfolio of postgraduate study at Leeds Arts University, which now includes MA Animation, MA Creative Practice, MA Digital Fashion, MA Fine Art, MA Graphic Design, MA Illustration with Graphic Novel, MA Photography, MA Worldbuilding with Creature Design.
During the private view the winner of the Anthony Earnshaw Prize will be announced. The bursary, awarded annually to postgraduate students at Leeds Arts University, was set up by artist Patrick Hughes in memory of his friend, the surrealist artist and fellow alumni, Anthony Earnshaw.
Next Gen Postgraduate show runs from 18 – 23 September at our Blenheim Walk site.
"This showcase celebrates the creative contributions of our master’s students working in all the creative postgraduate specialisms at Leeds Arts University. It is with delight that we promote and celebrate such rich and diverse practices, bought together at the end of an intensive period of study. Each of our students has embraced the prospect of new opportunities through individual drive and personal research, seeking to address and question what is possible. The unique contributions of each student’s work is exciting and experimental, which will facilitate our students abilities to be employable not just in the immediate months of graduating but into the future. Congratulations to all our amazing Masters students!"
