Graduates selected for It's Nice That's Ones to Watch 2026

Two recent graduates, Kian Cox and Bo Carrick Colston, have been selected for It’s Nice That’s Ones to Watch 2026.

Each year It’s Nice That create a directory of emerging creatives from around the world, showcasing their work on their online platform. This year, 72 practitioners from 16 different countries were selected showcase.

BA (Hons) Graphic Design graduate Kian Cox investigates typographic systems with technical precision and gives them a tactile and buoyant quality. In creating super structured visual identities, Kian incorporates subtle physical textures, bringing an organic, imperfect edge to pixel-perfect digital spaces. Kian is Co-Founder of Studio Affix, a Leeds-based multi-disciplinary design studio who will be taking part in the University’s funded studio space scheme as they develop their business.

Bo Carrick Colston, a BA (Hons) Illustration graduate is a Leeds-based freelance illustrator, creating gig posters, zines and editorial graphics with faced-paced aesthetics which capture the fleeting nature of local music subcultures.
