Richard Taylor, alumnus of Leeds Arts University, has published the children’s book ‘Never Stop Asking Questions!’ which he authored and illustrated himself.
‘Never Stop Asking Questions!’ is a book of random stories, rhymes and pictures which answer questions that you never knew you needed the answer to. And the answers may not necessarily be true either. Richard illustrated the book throughout by linocut, screen printing, drawing, painting, collage and etching.
Richard is an illustrator and primary school teacher who takes inspiration from the fascinating and hilarious questions he has been asked by his students over the years.
"My latest book is probably my most ambitious to date, illustrated in a variety of media, many of which would not have been possible without the inspiring and inclusive teaching at Leeds Arts University, aspects I always try to bring into my own teaching. 'Never Stop Asking Questions!' has been many years in the making with much development along the way, but it's overall aim remains - to encourage children's creativity, curiosity and kindness, using creative ideas to nurture playful imagination, positive expression and hopefully a little daydreaming. After all, that's where the best ideas come from!"
