Tracey is a part-time lecturer at Leeds Arts University, having previously lectured at The University of Huddersfield and delivered creative industry talks to other nationwide academic institutions. Tracey is a graduate of York St. John with a first-class honour’s degree in Applied Art and Design, and she later earned an MSc in Digital Textile Design and Innovation from The University of Huddersfield.

With over 18 years of experience in the industry, Tracey has worked extensively across couture, high street, online, and grocers in the UK and worldwide. She actively shares her studio practice with her students to enhance their employability skills and industry knowledge, reflecting her commitment to supporting emerging fashion talent and fashion futures. Tracey is a digital disrupter with a keen interest in sustainable fashion, alternative materials, the circular economy, and innovative business models. She also mentors business start-ups, sharing her industry knowledge and expertise to help drive their success.

Tracey's expertise and studio practice extends across multiple creative disciplines, including art direction, consultancy, fashion design, product development, buying, event management, ad campaigns, photography, art and creative direction, layout, typography, copywriting, social media campaigns, business development, layouts and photography, adverts, surface pattern, greetings cards, illustration, packaging, POS, beauty, and gifting. This diverse skillset enables her to work effectively with leading brands across men's, ladies', and children's fashion.
