Oliver is a Senior Lecturer on the BA (Hons) Fashion Marketing course at Leeds Arts University. He has previously taught at Manchester Metropolitan University and Bradford School of Art on Fashion Art Direction, Fashion, Graphic Design and Textiles, working with Foundation Diploma, Undergraduate and Postgraduate students.

His philosophy on teaching is to establish and maintain an inclusive, intersectional, and socially-conscious learning and teaching environment, supporting students as they work towards and develop their own creative practice with environmental, social and economic sustainability in mind.

Oliver’s professional background is in directional textiles and fashion business. His visual arts practice responds to LGBTQIA2+ lived and historical experience and encompasses the production of deviant and disruptive objects, images and surfaces.
