Josh Johnson is Pathway Leader for the Graphic Communication pathway on the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design. Josh is passionate about the transformative potential of art and design education. He has taught on both HE and FE courses including leading and managing specialist pathways on a number of Foundation Diploma in Art and Design courses. Josh has received a BA (Hons) in Art and Visual Culture from UWE Bristol, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education specialising in Art and Design education from the University of Huddersfield and a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design from Leeds Arts University.

Josh is interested in the experience of the built environment, flaws in processes, the smell of ink, memory, books and printed matter, how locations exist in sound and music, how sound and music exist in locations, traces of history in the landscape, paper, ghosts, printing, loud sounds and the production of work under different aliases amongst other things.
