Deidre is a Course Leader on the MA Digital Fashion course. Her previous teaching experience includes courses on Fashion design, Pattern drafting and fashion technology at both Further Education (FE) and Higher Education (HE) levels.

Deidre’s teaching is centred around practical and hands-on learning as she brings her industry experience and expertise into the studio. As a designer her main focus is on combining design, technology and technical skills to create innovative fashion products and collections. Her work with designers such as Alexander McQueen has given her first-hand insight into the fashion industry and its demands.

Her industry connections are a valuable resource for MA Digital Fashion students as she can help them network and gain exposure to real-world opportunities.
