Ben is a Lecturer on the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design, Fashion and Textiles pathway at Leeds Arts University which he joined in 2021. He has seven years of experience working within specialist arts education.

He was previously at The Northern School of Art as a Lecturer on the UAL Extended Diploma Fashion, the UAL Extended Diploma Photography and A-level Textiles. He has also worked within UAL/AQA/OCR examination roles and mental health support within the specialist arts setting.

Ben holds a BA (Hons) in Fashion Design Menswear and has a PGCE in 16+ Education.

Within his teaching at Leeds Arts University Ben specialises in fashion design, knitwear, experimental pattern cutting, drape, garment construction, sampling and digital process.

Ben’s creative practice and research explores image manipulation, visual communication, fabrication, experimentation, concepts and abstract art.
