I’m Andy Grayston, the Course Leader for the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design and Director of Further Education.

I studied Visual Communication at Leeds Arts University, a PGCE at the University of Leeds, a Postgraduate Certificate in Management at the University of Wolverhampton and an MA in Creative Practice at Leeds Arts University.

After graduating with my degree, I spent five years running a Graphic Design company before moving into the education sector. I have over two decades of course management experience having been Course Leader for National/Extended Diplomas, A-Level programmes and the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at Leeds Arts University.

My practice is currently focussed on human connection to nature, primarily using screen-based media, video and photography. I am also researching the potential of AI within the context of education.
