Leeds Arts University is the only specialist arts university in the North of England. We have contributed significantly to the development of arts education for over 180 years, and have developed a national and international reputation based on the achievements of our students and staff.Â
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Manager to manage and develop the implementation of sustainability projects and initiatives aligned to the University Sustainability Framework and the SDG Accord. The post holder will also play a key role in supporting the University with its objective to become a Net Zero Campus. The role will require you to actively engage with staff and students to develop, identify and prioritise sustainability initiatives as well as contributing to external engagement and partnerships with organisations. The post holder will work closely with colleagues across the University to develop and implement sustainable activities and practice, reporting on achievements against the University Sustainability Framework at Committee level.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and have a good understanding of Sustainability issues. They will also have a focused approach, good project management skills as well as organisational and prioritising skills and the ability to communicate effectively to a range of internal and external stakeholders.
