Three graduates from BA (Hons) Printed Textiles & Surface Pattern Design have been selected to work with new interior fabric design company Cocoon Home.
With its ethos rooted in supporting British talent, Cocoon Home has collaborated with five designers from a range of disciplines, from illustration and wood engraving to street art and lino cuts, who each receive a royalty for every metre of their fabric sold.
Three of the five artists, India Rose Bird, Nancy Straughan and Izzy Williamson all studied BA (Hons) Printed Textiles & Surface Pattern Design at Leeds Arts University.
Speaking of her choice of artists, Angela Constantinou, owner of Cocoon Home told us:
“The designers were selected on the on the strength of their work and style. That three of the five are from Leeds Arts University is certainly a testament to the talent that is produced there”
