Simone Wonnacott, Principal of Leeds College of Art, said: “We are delighted at being the highest ranked independent art college in the first year of being part of the Guardian league tables. In this economic climate it’s very encouraging to know our students are satisfied with the College and the experience, opportunities and education they are provided with whilst studying with us. We provide a great foundation for successful careers in the creative industries.”
Leeds College of Art is the only specialist art college in Yorkshire and has been delivering high quality art and design provision for over 160 years. We are proud of the vibrant and dynamic culture that has developed and matured since the College was founded in 1846. We have committed staff who help to create and uphold the values that are fundamental to our success. We feel it is most important to remain student-centred, and this value is a driver behind all of our aspirations. Our students are global ambassadors for us, their success is our success.
