Graduating students from the University’s BA (Hons) Textile Design course showcase their work at New Designers 2022.

New Designers is the UK’s leading platform for design talent, featuring the work of 2,500 talent graduates from the UK’s leading universities. The show gives graduates the opportunity to promote their work to an audience from across the design industry and the Business Design Centre, London.

The exhibition includes the New Designers Awards, a prestigious awards programme, supported by 30 leading industry partners who reward and recognise the design stars of the future.

The New Designers Clothworkers’ Company Printed Textile Design Associate Prize was awarded to Leeds Arts University BA (Hons) Textile Design 2022 graduate Emilie Harford

Gareth Wadkin, Course Leader commented:“New Designers provides our students with a fantastic platform on which to promote themselves and gain significant exposure, providing an important opportunity as they leave University to find their own way in the industry.

"Our graduating students have experienced significant challenges over the last three years and we are immensely proud of how they have come through to produce an outstanding collection of work to showcase at the exhibition.”

Students from Leeds Arts University will be at New Designers Part One from 29 June – 1 July 2022 at stand 34.
