Students showcase work at New Designers 2017

Graduating students from BA (Hons) Printed Textiles & Surface Pattern Design will showcase their work at the London design exhibition, New Designers, between 28 June – 1 July.

Having recently exhibited their work at the Leeds College of Art end of year show Extra-ordinary all graduating students from the course now have the opportunity to promote themselves and their work to a wider audience, including industry professionals, at New Designers 2017, the annual UK exhibition for emerging Design Talent.

The show sees over 3,000 of the most talented, newly graduated designers from the UK's leading universities come together to showcase their work to an audience of over 18,000 visitors at the Business Design Centre, London.

Duncan Harrison, Programme Director Fashion & Textiles, commented:

“The course prides itself on continued engagement with industry; with opportunities to champion the students as globally engaged and responsive designers who are involved with the wider, professional design community on an international level.”

“New Designers provides our students with another platform on which to promote themselves and gain significant exposure at industry level. It is an important part of the opportunities available to students at the College, and once again the department are pleased to have undertaken additional stands to ensure all graduating students having the chance to present at New Designers.”

Students from BA (Hons) Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern Design will be at New Designers Part One from 28 June-1 July 2017, exhibiting at stands T14 and T60.
