Students from BA (Hons) Fashion will be exhibiting at Graduate Fashion Week 2018, giving them the opportunity to impress industry professionals and build contacts for their future careers.
Many of our students have already caught the attention of the organisers, having been nominated for exciting awards at this year’s event and selected for a catwalk shows.
Here are the details of our shortlisted students:-
Lectra Iconic Redesign Competition, in association with Vivienne Westwood
Kate Oakley has been selected as one of only five finalists from the GFW member universities and colleges. This is a collaborative creative pattern cutting competition between Lectra, Graduate Fashion Week and Vivienne Westwood.

Graduate Fashion Week 2018 is held at The Truman Brewery, London from 3 – 6 June. It is the largest event in the world for fashion graduates, internationally renowned for establishing the careers of leading designers including Christopher Bailey MBE, Stella McCartney, Julien Macdonald and Matthew Williamson. The event showcases the work of over 1,000 of the best students and graduates from universities around the world, attracting 30,000 guests each year. The annual event features catwalk shows, exhibitions from over 40 universities, live talks and workshops, culminating in the prestigious Graduate Fashion Week Gala Awards Show.
