Students ready to impress at Graduate Fashion Week

Students from BA (Hons) Fashion will be exhibiting at Graduate Fashion Week 2019, giving them the opportunity to impress industry professionals and build contacts for their future careers.

Three students who have already caught the attention of the organisers are Holly Lamb, Freya Marechal and Oliwia Ignatiuk who have all been nominated for awards at this year’s event.

Holly has been shortlisted for the Fashion Communication Portfolio Award, Freya for the Fashion Styling & Creative Direction Award and Oliwia has been shortlisted for the Sportswear & Leisurewear Award. All the winners will be announcing during Graduate Fashion Week, 2 – 5 June.

Another student already making an impression is Chloe Bagge who was selected to feature in the Talent of Tomorrow campaign; you can read more about her contribution here.

Selected graduates will also see work from their collections featured on the Graduate Fashion Week catwalk as part of the GFW Collective at 12pm on Sunday 2 June.

Graduate Fashion Week 2019 is held at TheTruman Brewery, London from 2 – 5 June. It is the largest event in the world for fashion graduates, internationally renowned for establishing the careers of leading designers including Christopher Bailey MBE, Stella McCartney, Julien Macdonald and Matthew Williamson. The event showcases the work of over 1,000 of the best students and graduates from universities around the world, attracting 30,000 guests each year.
