Students from BA (Hons) Fashion impressed at Graduate Fashion Week, taking home top awards and showcasing their work on the catwalk.
Alicia Brown was awarded the Boohoo Social Media Award, taking home a £750 cash prize for her Instagram account which the judges felt was outstanding in its contribution to the field of fashion communication.

The Styling and Creative Direction Award was presented to India Wright for a portfolio of editorial stories, each aimed at an identified publication, addressing a wide variety of issues and narratives. Both students collected their awards at the prestigious Graduate Fashion Week Gala Awards Show.

Students Zlata Alekhno, Monica Birzan, Lottie Edgar, Amelia Russell were all selected by the organisers to show their collections on the catwalk by taking part in the Graduate Fashion Week Collective Runway Show, which was streamed live on the GFW website.
Graduate Fashion Week 2018 was held at The Truman Brewery, London from 3 – 6 June. It is the largest event in the world for fashion graduates, internationally renowned for establishing the careers of leading designers including Christopher Bailey MBE, Stella McCartney, Julien Macdonald and Matthew Williamson. The event showcases the work of over 1,000 of the best students and graduates from universities around the world, attracting 30,000 guests each year. The annual event features catwalk shows, exhibitions from over 40 universities, live talks and workshops, culminating in the prestigious Graduate Fashion Week Gala Awards Show.
