Leeds Town Hall was again the prestigious location for more than 300 art and design students graduating from Leeds College of Art at an official ceremony.
Students from the College’s BA degree and postgraduate programmes were honoured at the special ceremony held on Friday 28 November 2014. Graduates heard an inspirational speech from keynote speaker, Corrie Nielsen, a top fashion designer. Celebrations continued afterwards at Leeds Christmas German Markets, where graduates enjoyed photographs on the ‘Famous Golden Carousel’. The carousel has been in Mr John Crow’s family for four generations and was presented to Queen Elizabeth II on her Royal visit to Elsecar Heritage Centre in 1994.
The College’s Senior Management Team and staff also joined in the fun and enjoyed a ride on the carousel with the graduates.
