Student success at D&AD New Blood!

12 July 2017

Graduating students from BA (Hons) Animation and BA (Hons) Graphic Design were recognised for their talent and creativity at this year’s D&AD New Blood, being noted as the festival’s ‘Ones to Watch’.

Graduating BA (Hons) Graphic Design student Joel Sleet was awarded ‘One to Watch’ for his work ‘Certain’; a typeface for uncertain times that seeks to build trust between the communicator and the reader by taking a step away from corporate style, whilst still remaining consistent and grounded. In the installation on display at New Blood, visitors were invited to gauge their current levels of certainty in our government in light of the defining moments of a tumultuous year.
