Students from BA (Hons) Graphic Design and BA (Hons) Fine Art responded to a brief from buy-to-let specialists Fortem Global to create murals for the company’s contemporary new office in York Place Buildings.
Designs from Hannah Rice, BA (Hons) Graphic Design and Benjamin Campbell, BA (Hons) Fine Art were chosen, and the two artists were tasked with turning their winning designs into reality creating murals covering two walls in the York Place office.
Fortem Global Managing Director, Richard Tasker said:
“To celebrate our expansion into new offices we wanted something original and inspirational that would also showcase the work of local artists.
“Providing the space for creativity and positivity to thrive is vital to our team and business, and what better way to open our new office than to invite talented artists here in Leeds to create something extraordinary.”
