Shop Window for Extended Diploma Students at Leeds Kirkgate Market

09 July 2021

The final major project work of graduating Extended Diploma in Creative Practice students from Leeds Arts University is currently being showcased at Leeds Kirkgate Market.

The work from our talented group of artists and designers covers a window on Old Butchers’ Row at the market and provides a tantalising glimpse of the high standard of creativity being developed. You can see more from the student’s end of year online show.

Katie Holmes, Course Leader for Extended Diploma in Creative Practice said;
"Leeds Market is a wonderful place with lot of great stalls and it’s a hub of activity which makes it a perfect place to showcase the variety of work produced by some of the North’s best artists in the making. It’s well worth coming to the market if you’re in Leeds. If you pop down to Row J you’ll be able to see a snapshot of our amazing emerging artists work from a range of specialisms including Fine Art, Fashion Textiles, Graphic Communication and 3D design."

The window display continues a series of collaborations between Leeds Arts University Extended Diploma students and Leeds Markets. Watch this space for some exciting projects coming up in the near future!
