For two days, over 80 design researchers from 15 countries and 45 institutions were brought together to explore questions around practice-based research: What counts as practice-based research? What are the politics of designing and conducting practice-based research?  Where are the boundaries of theory & practice? How can we make practice-based research accountable?

Conference proceedings are in preparation and will be made available at http://phdbydesign.com/ by January 2015.
