Florence Yexley, a recent graduate from BA (Hons) Printed Textiles & Surface Pattern Design, will exhibit at Première Vision Paris as part of TexSelect’s prestigious mentorship programme.
TexSelect is a charity funded by the textile industry, which aims to select, mentor and promote the UK’s most talented gradate designers. Each year tutors from all BA and MA textile design courses across the UK are invited to nominate their most creative final year students for the award. Over 200 graduates are invited to a one-to-one interview with leading industry experts, with just 24 designers being chosen for the mentorship programme.
Alongside opportunities to showcase her work at the TexSelect London exhibition, and Première Vision in Paris, Florence was one of just six graduates also selected for the AVACadCam training award, a five-day workshop to learn about the key functions of AVA CAD/CAM’s software and relevant industry processes.
Florence will be exhibiting her work with TexSelect at Première Vision Paris from 17 – 21 September.
