BA (Hons) Fine Art graduate Jasper Pedyo will be showing his work at 108 Fine Art, Harrogate. The exhibition has been recently selected as the ‘Critics Choice’ in the Financial Times.
Jasper has been awarded the 108 Fine Art Purchase Award, for the “outstanding body of work” he exhibited at Leeds Arts University Degree Show 2018. He will now exhibit all his degree show works, as well as several new pieces in his first solo exhibition The Expanded Field.
Jackie Wullschlager, art critic at The Financial Times, described his “assertive yet refined constructions” as having the “charisma to command a room – and able to turn linages of pop and minimalism into something fresh and exhilarating”.
Pedyo also impressed the judges at this year’s Free Range Awards, taking home the Overall Prize in Art Week. He and his fellow graduates also took home the award for Best Collective for their show SYZYGY.
