Photography students volunteering at 2014 Engage Conference

06 November 2014

On 10 & 11 November the Engage International Conference will take place in Leeds.

Three of the College’s photography students are volunteering at the conference. They will be documenting the conference, which includes an exciting line up of speakers, useful breakout sessions and outstanding fringe events that will explore the theme of innovation in the context of education and learning in galleries, museums and the visual arts.

Adele Cassidy, Amy Creighton and Rosie Lennon are all studying BA (Hons) in Photography at the College and are enthusiastic about being involved and supporting the conference. The Conference is being hosted at Northern Ballet in the city centre, with breakout sessions at cultural venues across the city including Leeds Museums and Galleries and The Tetley.

As well as the Engage Conference, people can participate in an exciting Fringe programme (10, 11 & 12 November) showcasing visual arts and culture in Leeds and across Yorkshire, with partners that include Leeds College of Art, The Hepworth Wakefield, Yorkshire Sculpture Park and many more.
