On Thursday 14 May, our junior research fellow Dr Bianca Elzenbaumer - in collaboration with Maria Portugal and Alison Thomson from Goldsmiths University of London, ran a Phd by Design study and workshop day at Leeds College of Art.
The event brought together design researchers from 14 institutions to discuss how practice-based research travel can be made to travel in inventive and innovative ways. At the end of the day, everyone involved produced an instant journal in order to disseminate the knowledge, questions and ideas produced throughout the day.
