MA Creative Practice graduate, and Fine Art Instructor, Richard Baker, has been selected to exhibit in the prestigious John Moores Painting Prize exhibition 2018.
First held in 1957, the John Moores Painting Prize is the UK's best-known painting competition and is named after Sir John Moores (1896-1993), the sponsor of the prize. Richard Baker’s work, Cupboard 2 is one of 60 pieces selected for the exhibition, and will be on display at the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool until 18 November 2018.
As one of the exhibitors, Richard is eligible for the visitors' choice award. Visitors to the exhibition can vote for their favourite painting until Sunday 7 October, with the winner announced towards the end of October 2018.
