Two final year Visual Communication students, Lucy Everitt and Victoria Nelson won gold at the Creative Conscience Awards on 30 June 2016 in London.
Creative Conscience’s aim is to inspire designers to apply their talents to socially valuable projects, promoting sustainability, freedom, social health and well-being.
Lucy and Victoria both studied BA (Hons) Visual Communication.
Lucy won with her fashion and textiles collection of embroideries which explore the issues women are facing in modern society, whether that is their portrayal within the media or their oppression in the modern patriarchal society.
