Research Fellow Dr Kai Syng Tan and Curatorial and Exhibitions Manager Dr Catriona McAra have been appointed Peer Reviewers (2014-2019) of the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC).
As the AHRC website states, ‘The AHRC's Peer Review College has around 1,500 members from higher education institutions in the United Kingdom and overseas, and from outside academia. Members provide expert reviews of grant proposals, across the range of the AHRC's schemes, within their areas of expertise. The reviews inform moderating panels and, ultimately, the AHRC's decision-making processes. Membership of moderating and assessment panels is also drawn largely from the College.'

Having attended their induction session last October, Kai and Catriona look forward to making their contribution as reviewers to their colleagues in the research community, and to sharing what they have learnt with their colleagues at Leeds College of Art as it work towards its submission to the Research Excellence Framework 2021.
