BA (Hons) Creative Advertising students have been selected as finalists for Ad Venture, an advertising competition for students from across Europe to respond to a brief set by a real client.
The competition, organised by The European Institute for Commercial Communications Education, gives students the opportunity to work on a creative advertising campaign, sending their submissions to a panel made up of the client representatives and other industry experts.
The Leeds College of Art student agency,Team Tortoise, responded to a brief set by the European Women’s Lobby create a pan-European campaign to support its long term goal of achieving gender equality and realising women’s human rights. They will now go to Lisbon on 19 May to present their campaign to a panel of academics, industry professionals and client representatives.

Another Leeds College of Art agency, EUros, were also shortlisted in the top ten. Students from 31 universities from 13 countries submitted entries, with Leeds College of Art being the only institution to have more than one team in the final ten.
