We are pleased to announce that Leeds Arts University have retained the HR Excellence in Research Award after our four year review.
The HR Excellence in Research Award is awarded by registered charity, Vitae. It is considered an important tool for implementing the principles of the Concordat to support the career development of researchers. The process also calls for involvement in policy development and local level implementation.
Vitae is the global leader in supporting the professional development of researchers, experienced in working with institutions as they strive for research excellence, innovation and impact. They are a non-profit programme managed by CRAC (Career Development Organisation), with over 50 years’ experience in enhancing the skills and careers of researchers.
In retaining this award, it demonstrates the University’s long-term commitment to the future work of our researchers and academics.
Our research staff are crucial to the overall success of the University and we have been working hard to ensure they are well supported in developing their skills and careers, and engaging with cutting edge research.
There are currently only 100 Vitae UK member institutions with the award, and the team at Leeds Arts University are pleased to have received this recognition by the European Commission.
