Final year BA (Hons) Illustration student Molly Fairhurst has been selected for creative magazine It’s Nice That Graduate Showcase 2017.
It’s Nice That launched The Graduates in 2008, to champion the most exciting new talent coming out of UK undergraduate courses. The selected graduates are given their own profile on It’s Nice That’s website, becoming part of their creative network and having the opportunity to get help and advice from It’s Nice That team. Molly’s work was on display at The Graduates launch party in London, and will travel to New York for an event courtesy of A/D/O.
In her profile Molly talks about her time at the University, chosen originally for its mix of “professionalism and art”. “In the end it was a lot of fun,” she says. “The class itself had a great atmosphere, inside and out of the studio, creatively and as friends. It was also great to work in a class with such diverse attitudes to making.”
