Thirteen Leeds College of Art graduates from BA (Hons) Fine Art and BA (Hons) Photography will have the opportunity to sell their work at auction thanks to support from a global provider of risk management services, Aon plc.
Aon’s Art Committee selected pieces of work from Leeds College of Art and two other leading art schools, Glasgow School of Art and Manchester School of Art, to showcase in their client suite at their global headquarters in London.

On 10 May 2017 there will be an awards evening and live auction of the graduate work, with all proceeds going to the artists. The awards evening is a culmination of Aon’s 12 month mentoring programme to assist with the transition from art school to the commercial art world.
Graduates selected from BA (Hons) Fine Art were Molly Brocklehurst, Paige Cottam, Jairaj Lall, Charles Eden, Bertie Chapman, Samuel Burke and Hugo Samengo-Turner.
Graduates selected from BA (Hons) Photography were Laura Watkins, Will Kneeshaw, Jeremy O’Connor, James Cray, Ryan Egan and Sally Hornby.
All of the students are in with a chance of winning two prizes at the awards evening:
- £5,000 Aon Community Art prize, judged by an independent panel, will be awarded to the most promising student
- £2,000 colleague prize voted for by Aon employees.
Aon launched their Community Art Award in August 2015 to coincide with the opening of their brand new global headquarters in the iconic Leadenhall building in the heart of London.
