Fine Art Graduate wins Ingram Collection Purchase Prize

2018 BA (Hons) Fine Art graduate Tomas Harker has been announced as a winner of the 2018 Ingram Collection Purchase Prize.

The annual Ingram Collection Purchase Prize exists to celebrate and support the work of young artists at the outset of their careers. It is open to all artist who have graduated from a UK art school within the last three years.

Tomas’ work was exhibited alongside other finalists in an exhibition at the Cello Factory in London and the winners were announced on 21 November. Tomas is one of three winners of the 2018 Prize.

The Ingram Collection is recognised as one of the most significant, and publicly accessible, collections of Modern British Art. The collection holds over 600 works of art over three distinct collections, all of which are available to borrow. They are committed to using the collections to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to be inspired by art, no matter what their location or circumstances.

Tomas is currently studying towards an MA at the Royal College of Art.
