The Changing Faces of Leeds exhibitions currently on at Leeds City Museum uncovers the city of Leeds and its people in a brand new portraits exhibition.

Budding photographers, selfie-takers and professionals alike were challenged to photograph the people of Leeds to showcase the past and present.

Extended Diploma student Molly Richardson entered her photograph 'Luke' through Instagram using a hashtag so that the museum could find the entry's (#changingfacesofleeds) and they liked it so much that they used her picture to market the exhibition. It featured on their leaflets and on a banner outside the museum among others photos.

Molly’s photograph was also shortlisted to be featured in the exhibition which is on until 5 June at Leeds City Museum.

“I took the picture of Luke when searching for contrasting people as part of a college project. I thought he contrasted well because he stood out and looked very individual compared to a lot of people in this day and age. Luke has been body piercing for about 17 years. He's a vegan, climber, powerlifter and parent to 6 ferrets and a bearded dragon called Trevor.” Said Molly.
