Leeds Arts University BA (Hons) Photography alumni, Joanne Crawford (2009) and Max Miechowski, are the winners of the prestigious Portrait of Britain award headed by the British Journal of Photography.
Recent BA (Hons) Photography graduate Alec Aarons (2018), was also shortlisted for the award.
The winners will feature on JCDecaux screens nationwide from September 2018, on bus stops, high streets and in train stations, as part of the biggest exhibition of contemporary portraiture ever held. The work of all three alumni will also be featured with 200 winning and shortlisted images in a globally-distributed book published by Hoxton Mini Press.
