Fine Art graduates showcase at Free Range 2015

07 August 2015

Our BA (Hons) Fine Art graduating students exhibited their final year degree show, 44 Degrees in London at Free Range, the annual fine art showcase for emerging artists and graduates. It was held in The Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane, London between 2 – 6th July 2015.

Attracting visitor numbers to rival the largest art events, the annual Free Range exhibitions present the work of thousands of art and design students in several distinct categories including: fashion, art, graphics, photography and interior design.

Our 44 Degrees exhibition was perfectly positioned, up just one flight of stairs; it was the first graduate show visitors arrived at. The huge space was filled with art work from our talented third year graduates and was impressive and diverse.

Free Range shows also gives creative graduates the opportunity to showcase their work on an international level.

The opening night on 2 July was very well attended; drinks were flowing at the bar, which was run by the students themselves.

Joseph Gibney and Steven Ellis caught the attention of JonaQuestArt, an arts blogger at Free Range, who they introduced to their show. JonaQuest was particularly impressed with the work of Ellouise Caswell, Willow Stacey, Joseph Gibney, and Steven Ellis. Here’s their positive review of the show
