Creative Networks presents
Jake Chapman

14 November - 14 November 2017

Creative Networks is Leeds Arts University's major professional events programme with talks from a diverse group of high profile speakers from across the creative industries to entertain, challenge and inspire.

Join us as we interview Jake Chapman about his artwork, career journey, the challenges he has faced and what inspires him.

Since their time at the Royal College of Art, assisting Gilbert and George, Jake and Dinos Chapman have become two of the most controversial figures in the art world. Their work is observational and often political, focusing on the unspoken dark underbelly of the world. Due to the antagonistic nature of their work, it (and they) has received much criticism and negative press. Their work is often deliberately displayed with little to no explanation past the title, so the viewer is forced to draw their own conclusions about meaning and the position of the artist.

Tuesday 14 November 5:45-8:30pm
Entry is free but booking is essential as places are limited so please click here to book a ticket. Refreshments will be provided. Please note the start time of 5:45pm is for drinks prior to the talk at 6:30pm in the lecture theatre.
